PANDEMIC DREAMS
Pandemic Dreams. The foreground of this photo is the eye (specifically the pupil). I used the sun's lighting to capture it on my iphone 11 pro. The yellow (brown) eye colour complements the skin tone. Some say the eyes are a gateway to the soul, which may be a gateway to our dreams. The rest of the face is the background. This is a close-up shot.
IN FALL'S BLOOM
Like nature itself, we are born and return to mother nature... Everything has its time, place, and purpose. The foreground of the photo is the flower. The beige wooden box holding the flower complements the wooden fence and deck that is slightly blurred in order to illustrate the focal point of the picture.The green complements the orange as well as the yellow in the background.
END OF AN ERA
Logan Hotchkiss' house fire. April 2020. The foreground this photo accents is the fire and fireman. While the fire may take up close to two-thirds of the screen, it is the primary focus due to the close-up shot taken, therefore giving off a “larger than life” focal point. The background of the photo is the trees that veers off to the right and left, where a captured green leaves and blue sky backdrop gives contrasts to the green grass and beige wooden house. The fireman give off the same colour (brown/beige) as the blurred wall to the right and left of the picture. Colour coordination plays a big role in the photo because each colour plays a role with its respective object. and its surroundings.
